I was probably 6 or 7 years old. My father's soccer team was sponsored by a bar called The Rusty Nail in Newport News VA. I'd go with him to his games on Sunday and then to the bar to watch EPL games. I'd crawl around on the floor to find quarters and then play on the barbox with one of the other sons. We'd move a chair around the table so we could play a bit. Never been the same since.

14 or 15 hanging out with bar patrons and their kids at my dad's restaurant with a valley. Good times. Belated father's day to the dads.

My father was an excellent player, and one of his best friends since childhood was Willie Mosconi...they grew up together in Philly...for Christmas when I was 3 years old, one of my gifts was a small pool table...the rest as they say, is history...
