Your opinion on Magic Racks?

Make sure you remove the protective film from both sides of the racks.

I did not know this either.. I thought the MR was a little too thick but then again, I had not removed the film yet either.. It's much better now. I love mine.

Well, if you are happy wit the magic rack and all you play is 9 & 10 ball, then there is no reason to buy ANY other rack, including the Delta. But if you play any full rack games like 8 Ball, Straight Pool, or One Hole, you will need something unless you plan on racking the balls by hand.

Even if magic rack came out with a full rack template I think it would cause some interference problems 15 balls on the table, especially with the break shot of one pocket and straight pool.

I have the full rack template and the nineball template and both work great.

I don't think that there is a need for it in one pocket or 14.1.

I just tried a few one pocket breaks and played a couple shots over mine and it seemed just fine. I could however see some issues with very slow rolling balls.

All in all it's a handy device and definitely gives you the perfect rack every time as far as balls touching each other goes.

Reminds me of the time I played Jimmy Reid in Germany. I racked them up and Jimmy breaks and nothing moves. Jimmy looks at me funny and I say "they were all frozen" and he says "to what? The table?"
