what to you is ( and this is both 8-ball and 9-ball) a ( I have put my thoughts beside each one. thanks to all who reply and have a great shooting day
1 handycap :can barely hold the cue and has difficulty with all shots
2 handycap :can barley run 2 balls must be close to the pocket
3 handycap :can run a couple balls straight shooter no shape player
4 handycap :starts to play shape yet to develop safty game and can run staright shots and the ocassional down the table shots
5 handycap : able to run out open tables, will play safe , able to play reasonable shape, needs to develop the breakout shot
6 handycap: can run out tbl more frequently then a 5 , plays better saftys, can kick out and break open clutter of balls , needs to work on consistancy, better stroke table speed adjsutment
7 handycap: well he should be able to do all run-out,safty,good shape,break-out ,kick out
8 handycap and 9 handycap players that will make your opponet wait in your seat for most or all of your game. great to watch and learn from these players.
please note these are my 2 cents on a 8 by 4 tbl not a bar box ..bar box handycap are out the window for me anything can happen LOL
