My wife and I went out "junkin" today and and came accross a couple of items that I was interested in. I'm posting photos of a couple of Meucci cues that I found. Curious as to your opinion of the value of these. I'm not telling you what the shops wanted on purpose. btw.. these were taken with my phone so I appologize for the quality.

One more thing... I'm clueless when it comes to the Meucci cues so I'm kinda relying on you guys to know if this is worth a purchase or not. As in can I make enough $$$ on resale or trade to get a decent custom cue at a later date.

This first cue rolls straight, however the ferrule & tip looked as if whomever owned practiced breaking on a concrete wall... Other than that it was in pretty decent shape, a bit dirty but decent.

The second cue is, I think, a 97-11. The shaft on this one matches up fine and the ferrule/tip were in good shape.

Oh yeah, we also came accross these (the 2 in the middle), but they wanted more $$$ for these than I care to spend on a Saturday afternoon treasure hunt.

The cue to the right of the gambler is a 2 prong Meucci Originals and will bring a premium if in good condition. Always roll them for straightness and check the joint collars closely for cracks. That is the only cue of the 4 that is interesting to me. If under $300, you may have a decent buy there IMO.

Thanks for the info. I had a handle on the Gambler (obviously) but was a bit lost on the other. Interest or not, if one of the experts on here could give me a fair market value on the top two (in good condtion) that would be great. I'm in a "trade up" situation as I have a high schooler that is playing 3 expensive varsity sports (bowling ($250.00 per ball x 2-4/yr), Tennis ($300 per racket), and Baseball ($250 per bat)) and have very little left for my own hobbies.

btw... My playing cue is a McDermott Genesis if that tells you anything.
