Your suggestions please

I am looking for a 9 foot table for the house. I am pretty sure i am going to get a GC. My problem is I have heard a lot about the I's II's and III's and am not sure what to really look for. Did the generations have many changes through the years? Should I look for a certain series and settle for a different series? Any help and or guidance would be great. Thank you in advance.

I recently went through the same choices while searching for a table.
I didn't have my heart set on any one model but my thoughts were that an older model might still have good rubber and save me the cost of new cushions. A GC 3 or 4 would probably have less miles on it and I liked the slate leveling on the GC4. I should have bought the GC4 I found for $500 but I was really lucky and found a Centennial.
