Yuan8 open match update

I've watched the Vogel - Yu Lung match, this kid will be a world number one in a few years.
So many good youngsters it's hard to know. I remember thinking several years ago that 20-year-old Wiktor Zielinksi was going to become a top 5 player. He is 24 now and still hasn't really broken through.

AJ Manas was the most recent flavor of the month (I am still high on him).

What I like about Vogel is how calm he is at such a young age. Pretty savvy for such a young player, too. Saw him practice with Filler ahead of the WPC and at times it was hard to tell who was the better player. I know, it was just practice, but he worked Filler hard.

Still, a lot to learn and a long way to go. The big majors continue to be dominated by a handful of mostly older players in their late 20s and early 30s, plus 40-year-olds SVB and Biado. The last "young" player to fully break into the top ranks was Gorst, who is now 25.

Kledio Kaci, 19, Moritz Neuhausen, 21, and Mickey Krause, already 24, are skirting around the edges. But none of the three has decisively broken into the top ranks.

Kozoom have been posting some of the TW players games.
Some players also streaming their own there.
Lots of matches I watch live on WeChat or douyin via. Phone, or YouTube at my desk while working

Kuo is having a hot run lately. Seems to be playing well, and he’s a good friend of the yuan8 crew. Should be a great game.

Funny Vogel was playing Liu Xing the day before the event started for some warm up, as table space was low. Was the table next to me. LX had the better of him. Then it came to day one, and the draw out then together. Vogel took it 9-1. Funny old game.

Ruslan vs. Januarta now on Kozoom YouTube. Looks good so far.

KPY trolleyed his brother. KPY looks in fine form and is my favourite.

KPH has been aptly named the Ko brothers overweight luggage by a few Chinese friends 😂

Not sure who won the Ruslan match. Had a meeting before it ended. My mate sent me this on WeChat midway through it.

It will be Bernie Regalario vs Albert Januarta in the finals, 2 young upstarts. The finals match starts at 3:30 Pacific, an hour and 13 minutes away.
