Hello all,
I have a Z2 shaft with a good roll, I think its not significant enough where it isn't salvageable, the tip and joint stay on the table when rolled. my question is can it be turned to a traditional taper? who can I use to get this done and whats the cost gonna run. I also have a forty year old adams with steve mizerak on the foreaem, I need it refinished and want to change it to a 3/8X10, the pin is a fat 5/16X18 and cant fit other shafts on it, the original shaft is dead straight, forty years later, but its had its use. tx in advance.

Those are 11.75mm, how skinny do you want it to be?

Please don't ruin a perfectly good shaft.
If it's got a 'roll' to it, straighten it.
Predator shafts can be bent and they'll stay where you put them.
They have no memory until you give them one.

Well, it's a pretty decent roll. I don't want to thin it, I would want to change from a conical taper to a traditional one. 12-14"
