Now that's great customer service...and that is just one more reason to choose Predator products.

But I have to add that I wrote third (in three weeks) times to
http://www.predatorcues.com/contact_predator_cues.html
and didn't get any response.
In fact, for an European, it is very difficult to know *how* and *where* to write when one has a problem with their products.
To often, their resellers don't honour the warranty and don't even propose to get in contact with Predator.
Thus, Darrin is a great guy but it is far from easy to find him without the help of the forums (in my case, from AZbilliards to Seybert's billiard supply thanks to someone from the list here)

Marc, I'm very pleased your issue was resolved. I've know several players who had their problems resolved by Predator with no problems or delays. I don't use a Predator, but everything I have heard about their customer service has been good.

Today, I got the following mail from Loontjens ... without comment, but I purchased, a 5K2, a Z2 shaft, a cue case, many gloves for a total of + or - 750 euros (1000 $)!
BTW, Loontjens (as many other European sellers) is *very* expensive (+ or- 700$ for the cue + shaft).
We, European people should rather buy in the USA because it is cheaper even if we include the (extremely high) customs taxes!

Dear,
I’m glad for you by the fact that Predator is willing to give you a new shaft without seeing it. In my opinion the shaft is not at all used in a proper manner. Therefore I couldn’t be sure if the defect was caused by bad fabricate or misuse of the shaft.
Saying this I’m glad for you that Predator is prepared to give you another shaft but I wasn’t prepared to take the extra cost for a shaft which was (again) to me not treated in a way that is considered to be appropriate.
Kind regards,
Robbin Jobse

I'm glad you got yours resolved. I noticed a month or two after receiving my z shaft that it had begun to warp. I continued using it for a few more weeks but just could NOT get used to it so I switched back to my old 314. I never called predator but I did read that they do NOT cover warps. I guess I'm SOL there??? :( Not like I'll be missing anything b/c I honestly CANNOT see myself using the z again. I love my 314 however! :)
