Z3 Taper

Can anyone tell me if the Z3 taper is identical to the OB Pro? I think they are both euro/conical tapers, but want to know if they taper at the same gradient / feel like the same thickness. Reason I ask, I have played with an OB Pro on a Schon LTD for many years and really liked it. I recently moved to a Revo 12.4 on a Predator Throne 2-2 and am having problems getting on with it. Aesthetically, the Predator is beautiful ... just having a problem getting the feel of the Revo. I want to try a Z3. Thanks.

I could take my micrometer and 10 supposedly identical Z3s and find differences in the taper on each one at the 0.000,1" level

Is that the meaning of identical you want to use?

If, instead, I took a dial indicator, and ran it up and down the shaft, I would probably conclude that 8 of the 10 had "identical" tapers and 2 were measurably different at the 0.002" level.

Why not get an ob pro for the predator butt?
