Time to get rid of this kamui glass tip. Never again. How are the Zan tips? I'm using a Mezz EC7 with a WX700 shaft. I'm looking for either a soft or medium tip with some grip that DOES NOT GLASS OVER.

Zans are great, definitely a brand to be considered premium. The Premium soft is the best soft tip I have come across and their Medium is equally nice.

Let us know what you end up with and how you like it

Zan or G2 are great tips. I don't know what's going on with Kamui, but they glaze over, firm up very quicly and don't hold chalk very well.
The Onyx tip dries out very fast and I have had glazing problems with them. I think Sniper is the best tip from Tiger, but it's a tad to hard for me personally.

I use the zan 'grip hard' and it's great. Every leather tip will glaze so I use the kamui tool every couple hours to rough it up.

A little over 2 years ago Oscar gave me a few Zan mediums to try out. I haven't looked back. Love them. They play the same through the entire life of the tip, and they don't mushroom or glaze over too quick. They take less maintenance than any tip I've ever had.

I find kamui's fresh produce more spin, but quickly fades with glazing. And they harden up weird. Moori's don't produce as much spin but age better.

I have found zan medium's seem to be the best of both worlds. More spin than a moori, and ages better than a kamui.

That being said, I'm playing with a elkmaster pressed milkdud and it's pretty great for the money and my zan medium shaft stays in the case.
