Zeus cues.................??

Pretty strong statement coming from an expert.

Have a good day,

-Kat,

I could easily back it up by showing you two custom cues I ordered from Schemlke. Unsaleable. And they're pretty much an example of how a cue shouldn't be made. I still have them. Some of the shoddiest workmanship I've ever seen. A Players cue has a better fit and finish.

Pretty sure the higher end ones are around that price and well worth it in terms of quality- finish and playability. I'd put their quality a little bit underneath Mezz.

I just want to say regardless of the quality or price, I am highly disappointed in @CocoboloCowboy for not charging in with it doesn’t matter the cue, but rather the number of hours that the practitioner has with the cue. If coupled with a laser like focus and being able to see 6 steps ahead on the table only then can a player emerge consistently victorious. Coco puts it much more clearly than I ever could.

Or the good ol standby, "Its the Indian not................" ;) These gaudy chinese cues are popular in asia. They love that fancy shit, more power to the builders who have access to a full pond of rich suckers.

yes, too much goings on in most of their cues. i prefer when the wood does the talking. but to each their own. waiting list is/was 2 years, which is another aspect that's not my cup of tea. they're very well made cues though, that's undeniable

my next cue will be a cody cash plain jane. no frills at all. along this line: https://proficientbilliards.com/2022/07/06/birdseye-tad-cue/
That's a Merry Widow, plain jane is all wood no wrap.

I've got Scott Gilmore building me exactly what you want too. BEM forearm into purple heart grip section that will have a EE wrap. Into BEM butt sleeve segmented with two Morgan silver dollar rings and a milk white derlin butt cap. Steel 5/16-14p joint, 60" cu,e even split.

No inlays, no points, just a natural born killer....

Zen builds Merry Widow cues too, and they are not cheap, lol.

I just got a North Demon merry widow in the mail yesterday. I'd rate that over a Zen...

They must not be as expensive. They look super nice.

No, there quite a bit more expensive then Zen.

The one in that link is $3k. I assume if it were a Zen, then the price would probably be twice that amount.

Your an idiot or mildly retarded, possibly both.

The Cue I linked is $25,000 plus. His Merry Widows start at $5k on the lower end because he does not do any cues that are not multi-segmented with extremely detailed inlays.

But I'm sure you've watched some YouTube videos on Zen cues and his new production cue facility where there just cranking out cues like a McDermotts or a Jacoby now.

Do you even own one?

Semantics. I've heard more than one maker call this style of cue a 'plain jane'. your gilmore sounds BAD-ass.

Why so nasty and hostile? Speaking of idiots, this world seems to be cram full of them. I only wondered why such a fancy North Demon cue was for sale for $3k, and assumed that Zen cues were far more expensive, for something similar to that. There really was no need for the name calling. People on the internet can be so mean.

No, I do not have that kind of money. I just love looking at cues. If a Merry Widow is $5k, then I wonder why this one is still sitting up for sale for $8700.

This mildly retarded person just loves looking at cues. That is all.
