Zidane trick shot

I guess this has been around for a while. I just saw it and it is pretty cool. I am still not convinced it is real. I have watched it a few times and it is starting to look plausible. The first time you see it you will think it has to be rigged. Now I am not sure. It may be a legitimate trick shot. I don't know at this point.

I would like to know who set it up.

I posted up the shot a couple of weeks ago, sir.

It is a CGI trickshot unfortunately, but whoever was in charge of the effects team really knew his pool, the angles and cannons are nigh on perfect.

It was part of a European advertising campaign, including Zidane playing the piano, pool and a few others which escape me.

Ah CGI. I couldn't figure how they did it. Thanks.

It's not clear to me that hitting the shot perfectly would make the balls do that. It sort of looks like balls are being cut backwards and with good speed. Also, it looks like the 3 ball takes a funny angle off the cushion, but that could be the camera distortion.

Nine balls into the side pocket is impressive, though.

It does look like a backwards cut until you watch it enough times to catch the carom off the balls being banked back into the balls that are knocked straight in. An interesting setup. Somebody put some work into it.
