ZLuc shafts

I keep seeing these comercials for ZLuc brand of carbon fiber shafts
Does any of you have thoughts on them?
Price is really low... what is the catch?

The market is full of these shaft 'assemblers', companies that buy tubes then assemble and sell. I read the spiel on these and they look like every other seller at these price points. I'm sure they play just fine. They offer two just like Rhino( pretty sure they are owned by same people) one that's lower defl. than the other. Bizu's basic shaft is only 96bux. Bought in bulk cf tubes are cheap these days, that's the main reason you see all these lo-buck cf shafts.

Any idea how they stand up to brand names? i am eyeing a shaft for a Meucci cue, but the Meucci price is something I am not ready for yet....

I'd say it's unlikely that someone here has one of those shafts, but who knows?

If you are in the U.S., order one of the ZLucs off of Amazon and try it out. If you don't like it, send it back.

I would bet that they are a lot like the OKhealing CF shafts, which are not bad. Either way, it probably plays fine, but you might need to replace the tip with something else.

Basically, I would think the Rhino and Raven shafts at $199 would be a bit better than this, but not sure it's $60 better. Price for performance, I'd probably look at the Raven Pro or the Rhino MUST for $259.
