I cant remember the name of the pro who developed this quite a few years ago
I think it was either "Pretty Boy Floyd" or King Rempe ?? anyways it is just another way to practice and develop positional playing skills but this is supposed
to add a little fun to it .If you need help to learn to play position Zone Pool will
definitely help you out !

Yes I have it. This is very good to learn how to leave the cue ball in a specific location after a shot.

I don't play the game as it is intended. What I do instead is I have the deck of cards laying on a table by my pool table. Then each day I will pick a card off the deck, set up the shot, and try to leave the cue ball where the card says to leave it. And maybe do 10 of these cards a day putting the used cards at the bottom of the pile.

This can be frustrating at first, but with a few months of practice, you can many times get the cue ball to at least roll past the spot intended after the shot.

Then with more practice, you will be able to get the cue ball to go the correct direction *and* stop in the area indicated.

Zone Pool "2-ways to the end goal"

I use the deck as Billy Bob suggests too. However, I just use one card a day. I then find two ways to get the cue ball into the zone it requests. That way I have learned an alternate route and can get proficient at both paths. I shoot these until I make 5 in a row.

I also use this as my focus and routine builder. If you learn to really get your pre-shot routine down and learn to do it before every shot, they all start to feel much more comfortable. So, since I use it as a quick drill type of thing, it makes you really bare down on each shot. It is amazing how tough it is to really put the same follow through on the shot and find some real consistency on speed and hitting the exact same spot on the object ball to get the same result. BTW, if I can't do five in a row within a decent amount of time, I do that card again the next day until I get it down.
