Pagulayan brand chalk - TAOM formula

The guys at the Pagulayan booth at DCC 2024 freely admitted that it was made by Taom, but said that it was a reformulated recipe to make it more grippy that the regular Taom chalks. I see no difference between this and the Predator Pure chalks, but I DO see a difference between those two brands...

    Hand held jump bridge

I think the whiny crybabies would march to Washington and have this banned before they sold 100 units.

    For the Taom Chalk Users

When I switched to Taom I ended up changing the way I chalk, so I could maintain that curvature. I got a new callous on my thumb from holding the shaft in my left hand while I chalked with my right hand.

    Jayson Shaw on Team USA!

When I first saw this, I thought it must be a hoax. Jayson has been the heart and soul of Team Europe for as long as he's been a part of it. My brain can't accept the concept of Jayson playing for Team USA.

    Taom Chalk

Apparently, I'm a 650. I have no idea how they came up with that number. Do they keep records from the 1990s, which was the last time I regularly played those games?

    Taom Chalk

I'll repeat myself. My Fargo is irrelevant. I miscued much more with the V10 than with the Pyro. I'm happy that I found this out, and I'm really happy with the Pyro. I also get better spin with the Pyro than with the V10. I'm not trying to knock the V10 people (there are a LOT of you), I'm just...

    Taom Chalk

Possibly, but I still haven't miscued once in six months, since switching to Pyro.

    Taom Chalk

After I switched to the V10, I found myself miscueing a lot more than normal. About 10x more, actually. I switched to the Pyro in January (after Derby) and haven't miscued since. Of course I could just develop a better stroke, but failing that, switching to Pyro has solved my miscueing issue...

    Calcutta question

In the player auctions I've seen or been a part of, the players are typically given the option to purchase half of themselves from the winning bidder. Is this normally a request that the winning bidder has to honor, or can he/she decide to keep it for themselves? Also, if a player couldn't...

Is your home table the same as the ones you compete on?

For quite a while, my home table/cloth/cushions/balls were exactly the same as way they had at the Derby City Classic. I've done my best to keep up with the changes, but I still have a Diamond Professional with 3-piece slate, and the DCC has switched to Diamond Pro tables with 1-piece slate. I'm...

What Is Up With Master Chalk?

Several years ago I switched to triangle chalk, and to my surprise I felt like it played more like the pre-flag Master than the post-flag Master did. It seemed grippier, as if that's a real word.
