Mark Gregory Centennial Photos

There's a nice restored Centennial on ebay for $15K from Texas. The Ebay one looks good, but not near quite as good as this one.

There's a difference between restoring a Centennial and what Mark has done. If you were to put 5 restored Centennial tables in a room all set up the same, they'd pretty much look all the same like they were factory built....because they were.

Now if you put 5 Centennial tables in the nest room, what you'd have is 5 works of art that LOOK like Centennial tables, but each one of them would be of their own design....leaving you frustrated as to which one you wanted. In the first room you'd just look for the best looking one in the room.

Then if you decided to make your choice by how the tables played, in the first room with the restored Centennial's they'd all play differently to each other, because rebuilding and calibrating the play of the rails and pockets is like a secret art, and not really knowledgeable to the person restoring the Centennial's or Anniversaries.

So when you go back in the room with the 5 Mark Gregory originals, you'll have an even harder time trying to pick which one you like based on how they play....because they'll all play the exact same.

I do understand there are customers that are looking for as close to original Centennial's and Anniversaries as they can get, but they're more of the collector clientele. Marks clientele is more of the one of a kind ART collector that is not interested in buying a pool table that so many others already have....they want to know they're buying a one of a kind....which only adds to the value of his tables.

So, for any of you that looked at theses pictures of this table, don't fool yourselves into thinking this table is a restored Centennial because it's not, it's an original Mark Gregory that just happens to LOOK like a Centennial.
