Amboyna burl or snakewood into ebony is the nuts...can't decide which I like the best.

Red Mallee Burl!! I have never seen it used in a cue but love the color and look of it!! Not sure if it is even suitable for cues but it certainly looks sweet.

Gotta love that Aussie Burl .... :grin:

They had a vendor at the Open this year that had the Red Mallee.... I was actually going to buy some pieces but I got caught up and didn't get out to see the guy again before we left... How much you looking for on the 2 pieces you have in the photo????

I just got these in recently, and I'm looking for a cue maker to turn them into a couple wrapless cues for me....... plain janes no splices.

that is a beauty.....my favorite cuemaker is searching for some MONSTER CRAZY REDWOOD BURL FOR A CUE FOR ME IN THE FUTURE.....:thumbup:

i also build cues and for looks i like, tasmanian blackwood, curly koa, buckeye burl, but for hit i like pink ivory or any good rosewood

I love pretty figured wood , Laced Redwood burl , Amboyna burl , Olive wood , all of the above mixed with Ebony , Birds-eye and curly . I love purple heart for the core insde the cue , where it can not be seen .
