Florida Open 2025, August 5-10, Orlando, Caribe Royale

I have heard of savers/chops done with 60-40 or similar. Also, sometimes the players could agree in say the round of 16 to split by some ratio whatever the two win in total. Lots of possible variations.

Of course, the winner will get a 1099 for the full amount. I suppose he could claim an expense of, say, $5000 as a "professional fee for my buddy", but that would generate another 1099. A quieter way would be to reduce the saver payment by the estimated tax, but that might be tax fraud.
Pool players ain't this smart

Just split and 8 ball with some female companions ... off to the next tourney

Calcutta

In a local tournament (with anywhere from 15-30 players in it) how many places does a typical calcutta pay out? Does winner take all, or do the first 3 spots get a cut of the calcutta?
Quarter of the field or less
20 players pays 4 just like 16 ect

Can try to get 3rd and 4th to play for that money too.....technically paying 3rd and 4th not 3rd/4th

Pia Filler hates wood shafts

It's a pool cue and anyone that is a good enough player can adapt.

Carbon, more or so, are made for beginners. Not saying advanced players can't play with them but it helps beginners with the learning curve.

I can spot a newbie based on the cue they are playing with. They're usually shooting with a carbon shaft and a measle cue ball.
Once you get used to it....the consistency of carbon fiber ups most advanced players games. It absolutely did mine and I held out for awhile playing 314 shafts. The Revo is just that much better.

Can I pick up a shovel handle and run a rack?...probably if they lay good.
