Chuck Starkey Titleist 3/8-10 modified FS

I have a monster Titleist player by Chuck Starkey, 3/8-10 modified pin. Had some bumps on the butt from being a player. Hits like a Mac truck and super stiff and has that beautiful ping sound to it from old wood and what I believe is an ivory ferrule. The shaft does have some taper roll and the butt rolls straight together and apart. Tip doesn’t leave the table when togethe rolled. This is a monster player and I’d compare it to any high end cue I’ve owned ever as a pure players cue. A cue came up I was looking for and available or I wouldn’t sell, in all honesty it probably won’t play as good but I won’t be playing much anymore anyway so that doesn’t matter unfortunately. I just cleaned the shaft and it’s silky smooth with no bumps or dings

58 inch split

Butt is 13.85 and weight can be added

Shaft is 13mm and 4oz and all shaft and silky smooth no dents and freshly cleaned by me, that’s not with any insert as some will say they have a 4oz shaft with a metal insert….not the same 🤷‍♂️😂

Can answer any questions you have or send more pics. If you like super hard hitting cues and don’t wanna take your 4K cue to a shithole in fear of it being kicked over etc then here is your backup cue for 950 bucks. Most Titleist cues are 2k and up regardless the maker

Yes I told my teammates tonight that I wanted to get one of these for them ! They didn't get to worried until I told them a better way to get them to be more serious about us winning our matches if they want to drink a beer they need to win their game a win they get a beer ! Ha ha

They darn near voted me off the team for that suggestion ha ha !

I just don't like the InFuze Kielwood shaft

It is most definitely a 10pc spliced Kielwood shaft w/carbon core, not just the regular maple It is tapped for 3/8-10, not the 3/8-10 modified pin. Some manufacturers make it so it works on both, others don't. It fits fine on my 3/8-10 jointed Varney cue, but not my modded pin cues. It's fine, I used it today for several hours on the Varney, and the combination is great. It came with a Kamui brown Medium tip. Took about an hour to get used to it, and it is much nicer to play with than the Revo. I may get another in the smaller diameter, too. I find the deflection to be almost as low, but not quite the same as the Revo. It's only in the most extreme use of English that I'll notice it, but it's just a slight adjustment. The way it worked for me today, I'll likely be keeping the Revo as the backup and getting this one tapped for the modified pin, which makes it work on both styles. One benefit that I didn't even consider is that a wood shaft is much more visible than a black CF shaft, and makes it much easier to sight shots when keeping my eyes on the object ball.

What type of shots are giving you trouble?

this is a new shaft, wasn't around when I got mine. good to know.
I wonder if there is a difference in deflection performance compared to the one piece shaft.
The weight of your shaft is perfect! I wish mine was like it.
Enjoy it.

Anyone with intel on this vintage V. Loria & Sons 9-foot table?

I'm trying to figure out the history/pedigree of this table - it is my late father's -- we used to live in Westchester so I know it's legit. Have tried to e-mail customerservice@loriaawards.com but it keeps bouncing... thanks for any insights! ~Jill
