Looking to sell 10 veneer presses. These are made from high quality Douglas Fir (clear grain used in joist construction) and will press veneers up to 3"x11". Base and press blocks are pinned to hold in place and they locate one or both sides of the veneers to keep them from sliding. They have Jorgenson press screws (about $40.00 for the pair) for high torque although you do not need to press too tightly. Since I don't know how to add pictures here yet, please email me for pic at bob_danielson@hotmail.com.
Pricing for press with 2 press blocks (You can press 2 sets of veneers at one time) is $125.00. With 3 block (for 3 sets of veneers) add $5.00. Price does not include shipping from Eastern Washington to you.

Nice looking press, simple design, and doesn't take up a lot of room. I would buy one, but just finished making my own, which is atleast double the space:( . Good luck with the sales:thumbup:

Thanks Dave. It takes a space about 4"x18". With 3 blocks you could press 9"x10" at a time.

Was asked by a cuemaker about being able to press 6" wide at one time. With the 2 press blocks you can press 2 - 3" sections at once. If there are those of you interested in being able to press 2 - 6" sections at once I would make another design. The other way would be to use 2 press frames with 7"x11" blocks between them. Pricing would increase a bit as I would have to purchase 2"x8"s for the cross blocks. So, set of two frames with 2 cross blocks might run $260.00. You would be able to glue 2 - 6"x10" veneers at once.
Looking for some feedback, Thanks, Bob

Recieved mine last week. Bob does a great job, quality craftsmanship.
Very pleased with my new press.

Thanks Kenny and Bob. 2 down 1 to go. If I get more orders than this I will buy some more screws to make more presses. These and any others will be ready about the end of April as I am going on vacation next week.
