R.I.P. - Broadway Billiards in NYC

Eddie's hustling technique is unique-Just ask anyone new coming through the door. Want to play some $.. nine ball? People swore he asked Earl when he was doing his thing at Chelsea. Eddie was also written up in "Playing Off the Rail". Im not sure they named him but he is in there.

He got me for $20 once. He was too annoying to play so I had to quit.

Hah, he got me for a bit more than that over a few sessions. Funny, I was told I really had him sweatin' once (I forgot we were playing a race to 6 and I was 3 or 4 balls away, but playing weaker than usual!) when I coulda put him a huge $85 in the hole or something.:D But he has these techniques that make him exhausting to beat (and he never seemed to miss a bank that mattered), especially down in that dungeon.

Speaking of never missing a bank that mattered, that reminds of of a funny time he was playing Big D some 9-ball.

It's hill-hill and D missed a tough cut on the 9-ball but leaves Eddie with a tough, long bank on the nine ball. Eddie is so furious that D missed and left him safe, that Eddie has to take a break and collect his thoughts. Eddie goes to the bathroom, comes back to the table still furious, goes down over the shot for all of a half second and fires in the bank at a hundred miles an hour.
