Years ago, I lived in Springfield, Missouri and watching the guys there got me interested in pool.

Tournaments were weekly and at various places each week.

One event was at the Q Club and it was a "Bud Light" tournament. If you can remember the old commercial, the gag was it was a "ladies only" tournament with free BUD LIGHT. So guys dressed up like ladies and played in the pool tournament to get the Bud light.

The tournament in Springfield was run that any woman could play, and men, if dressed as women, could play. The room made it an added tournament. I think there were 32 players. It was about equally split women and men dressed as "ladies".

The problem with men, including me, was that while we looked cute with "big balloons" in front, we never knew how difficult it was to actually play pool with big boobs! The rule was as long as we played "equipped" we could play but shooting between and around a chest gave us all a new appreciation for the women players.

Obviously one of the top ladies players won as we could not fade the huge handicap.

One of favorite memories in pool.

You in a room, full of guys dressed like women sounds like a normal weekend for you:eek:

There was an old guy that kept trying to move the tournament along, I finally asked him what the deal was.

He said he had to get the wife's dress back in the closet before she got home from work, just as serious as could be.

LOL
