I just bought a GC2 and I am recovering/recushioning it and I had a few questions on parts and instalation.
1. I wanted to replace the superspeed with artemis and am not sure on the profile to buy. 66 or 55. I think 55 but am not sure. Pretty sure the profile is K55 but am not sure if the Artemis cushions translate the same.
2. Simonis 860 HR or 760. I live in a humid environment (Texas coast 5 blocks from the corpus christi bay) and I am not sure what would give me the best and most consistent play in this environment.
3. Slate seams-fill with beeswax or water putty. Have seen both done. The local table mechanic I used to work for uses water putty but have heard varied opinions on it.
4. Simonis instalation-Local table mechanic says to use simonis instructions but I've heard people say that isn't the way to go for best results. Also how much to stretch cushion cloth. Some say super tight, some say tight slows the rebound.
