Phoenix area Info --Gilbert Chandler etc

Hey guys

I have a buddy that will be in the Phoenix area tonight. More specifically he will be around Gilbert/Chandler.

Any locals spots that are good to places that have tournaments he might can get into.
Good bars dive bars pool rooms it doesnt matter. He is just looking for a place to kill some time.

Frank, the closest real place is Tempe. Kolby's Corner Pocket and Scott Frost playes out of there. Oh but most of the Tourneys in town are where you have to be AZ rated. I can tell you pool rooms in Gilbert and Chandler etc but the tourney stuff is going to be tough and I am not sure about OPEN events.

sunday tournys on the east side that actually go on are these two.

At 3pm at tom Ryans bar. Warner road and arizona ave. $5 entry $5 side pot. open 8 bar box. Last week there were 38 players. first with the side was like 250 - 300.

at 7 30 tonight. at Spirits on Elsworth and Main. a little farther away up the 60.
8 ball bar box open. open tables 7 dollar entry. usually like 20 or more players.

on gilbert and guadalupe there is a pool hall called Lazy Cue. no players in there tho.

My buddy went to Spirits and had a good time. He is stuck there again
today and is going to try and find something tonight. He said he thought Spirits has a 9ball tourney tonight.

I am also sending him to Sweet Tooth Billiards to check it out during the late night hours.
My buddy is more of a bar guy but he wants to check out the new place.

Sweet Tooths is on the COMPLETE opposite side of the city. But he wants to make the trek then go for it. There are alot of cool spots on the west side. If he want to check out a couple other places on the east side. He could go to Q and brew Mill & Southern, Kolbys, skip and Jans on priest and elliot, main street billiards on main and apache. These are all 'pool halls' and not to far from where he is located.

He was in near Tolleson earlier but doesnt mind getting around town. I think by now he is either at or heading to Spirits and plans on hitting Sweet Tooth later.
