Custom Cue = 4 points w/ veneers

I have had someone insist that this cue was made by Skip Weston, I am pretty certain that is not the case. In addition the butt cap is not Ivory but rather a simulated ivory material.

The glare from the ebony part of the finish, but none from the maple part gives me the feeling that there are decals involved...

The veneers don't look real either.
 
Thats really a nice looking cue with nice shafts that would give this cue a pretty good balance.

Points look sharp.

Very nice and a good price also.

Do you seriuosly think that I would try to sell a decal cue for 650 dollars,come on man get real. In addition I try to post the best pictures possible and that means trying to avoid the glare and reflections that happen while trying to photograph cues. Anyone that has even the fainest of interest in the cue is more than welcome to inspect the cue and test hit it at the Super Billiards Expo on Thursday.

Thanks to all the positive commeters who obviously know a thing or two about decent cues.

Sorry, may have overreacted- but honestly unknown cues just give me the willies. I've heard all sorts of horror stories about how people bought unknown cues that were dead ringers for high end custom cues but ended up falling apart. But seriously- that glare makes me uneasy. I had a couple of decal cues that did the same thing under direct lighting- my customs don't. Maybe it's the angle.

Edit: Also, I didn't intend to call your integrity into question- I didn't know where you got the cue from, and for all I know, some guy sold it to you and told you it was a custom.

No harm no foul. If you are at the expo and would like to see the cue let me know as I would be happy to let you try it out. It is a good quality build but is not signed or marked. Maybe it was signed at one time and had been refinished by someone other than the original maker when I bought it.
