Whose is the best pool player on AZBilliards.com?

Rate yourself – (scale 1-10)
This is based on ten racks of 9-Ball playing by yourself and average.

10 – Break and Runout consistently, 1 error*
09 – Break and Runout 8 balls, 1 error
08 – Break and Runout 7 balls, 1-2 errors
07 – Break and Runout 6 balls, 2 errors
06 – Break and Runout 5 balls, 2-3 errors
05 – Break and Runout 4 balls, 3 errors
04 – Break and Runout 3 balls, 3-4 errors
03 – Break and Runout 2 balls, 4 errors
02 – Break and Runout 1 ball, 5-6 errors
01 – Break and Runout no balls, 8 errors

If you pass the error mark, you drop one rating down.

*Error – not making the object ball in the pocket

Rating 10 with 1 error means you did a dry break OR you had no shot on the 1.

(Ex) You are rated as a 5, usually there are 3 errors due to after you miss, the object ball rolls to a position you cannot make. After you hit, it will be 2 errors and maybe there might be a third error due to bad position on the next ball.

Hint: If you leave yourself in a bad position or you have no position to make the object ball, use that one error and hit the ball in a position you can make the ball following a position you can shoot on the next shot.

I had some dry breaks and I kept messing up on the last 2-3 balls BUT I got it back up with 4 Break and Runout

VietSoClassic – 8.8 (10-4, 9-1, 8-4, 7-1)

How about you?

I hope everyone understand what I'm saying.

If this sounds weird to you and dont understand, ask me any questions.

I just think this helps on how consistent your able to run on 10 racks.

I'm not sure if this has ever been suggested, but I think the only way to settle this is to have the AZ Billiard's First Annual Invitational Tournament. Sorry no Pro's allowed. That would be a good time. Just think how much trash talking would happen before and after such event!!

Simple. SVB is the best. Nobody is close.

I'm not so sure it's that simple. I would agree to say that SVB is the top American player right now, but to say that he's the best and that nobody is close, now that's a bit of a stretch. Too many guys out there like the Phillipino's, Immonen, and you can't count out people like Deuel.

But they are NOT invited to the tournament anyways!!

Hi guys. We have a yearly tournament right here on AZ. It starts around Thanksgiving of each year and ends at the end of DCC. There is a whole forum section devoted to it.

The best player for the 2008/2009 season on AZ is: Supergreenman

Here is the thread: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=121750

The forum section is a bit unorganized, but here is a single post that helps to see prior year results:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showpost.php?p=1641553&postcount=45

Please remember this and participate when the tournament starts up again during this year's holiday season.
