i've had this cue for 15-16 yrs and it was old when i got it.

it has thick silver rings ss joint 5/16 x 14 pin, maple forearm and buttsleeve (does not look like birdseye), delrin butt cap.

the rings you see above and below the wrap are thin green veneers sandwitched between two black rings.

thanks in advance for whatever you can tell me.

I would almost guess that it was a tad? But normally they are signed. Most likely just a lesser known pool cue manufacture. I say that because the forearm and butt sleve are straight grain maple and not birdseye. Usually they do that to cut cost.

Looks old enough to have been made before anybody started signing cues. The style looks familiar, but I am not sure. Has it been re-wrapped?

I'm real curious about this cue as I had one similar to this about 10 years ago, and never found out who built it?

A crazy idea might be to cut the wrap off because it isn't original, and see if it is signed?

there is nothing under the wrap or bumper.

I was thinking of Hank Corsair but he used the 5/16 x 18 screw. He did make cues that look like that and play just as good as an early Tad.
