No rest for the wicked. I moved this out of a basement and into another, on good Friday. There were four pieces 2" thick at 480 pounds a piece. I still have bruises on forearms. Here is a couple pics. Thanks, Ron

Nice job Ron!!

How many guys did you have helping move that slate around? I can't imagine having to work with something that heavy. I thought a 1" thick piece of slate for a 9' table was heavy

Is that an older table or do they still make tables with slate that thick? I like the looks of it too.

Thanks,

Eric

table

Eric, I am pretty sure Connelly went out of business. I can not remember, or they just do not offer some of there old tables. The table is a few years old. Me and one other guy with a dolly, moved this one. It was a bear.
I am not a Connelly fan, but i will say they built this table well. Thanks, Ron

table

I could have used one of those King Cobra dollies. HINT.

I feel your pain brother. Connelly Ultimates are lots of fun. Have installed a few. As for Connelly tables, I love them. Very nice hardwood tables that are built like a brick s@*t house. I know they filed for bankruptcy but not sure if they are done done.

ps.. Did you roll a ball on that table. Apsolute silence. It is weird not hearing the ball roll.

Pocket Shelf Cloth Tear?

Looks like this could be something that gets worse in the future but I'm not sure if it is a tear in the cloth or just some photo glitch.

Nice looking table.

I cant belive were they put the slate screws @ in the playing field all that money for a solid table and put holes were they shouldn't be for best playabilty.

Looks like it'the way he finish's his pocketswith cloth behind it and dog ears the pockets.Ernesto does the same at hardtimes in sacramento next time you come down you will see the same but mostly in the side pockets stand out more.

all in all the table looks great.
