I got a little to straight on the 2. What would you do here? I'll tell later what I did.
Just pound that ball in with center + a little left english.
cueball comes right back towards the 9/3 if you miss play safe by putting the cue ball behind the 7 one rail.
Hit the 2 very thin and send the CB 2-3 rails to the head rail. Hard for them to play safe back from that distance. Only problem is if you hit it to full you could scratch or bump the 2 out where it is makeable. Better to hit to thin than to full.
I'd play the 2 in - going rail first with good amount of draw - gives you the best chance at a breakout without having to smash anything to try to open up the angle. I'd rather try to finesse it than hit it real hard - depends on the pockets too though. just my .02![]()
as an aside, not to jack the thread, but someone please PM me on how to get the layout to appear in my post instead of just a link.
Thanks!!
That's what I would do
Hit the cue ball with some bottom, rail first, make the two, break open the 3 and 9, and try to leave myself a shot on the 3.
