Races to 4 on winners side, 3 on loss side
Double elimination; alternate breaks
Doors open at 10 am...... noon first round

This will be a GREAT tournament, not to mention good food and good times!!!!!!!

You know, I live in Fort Worth but I've never been to one of these. I hardly ever play on bar boxes, let alone play 8-ball on them. Since this is on Memorial Day weekend, I may come up if my wife doesn't drag me to Scarborough Faire! :p

The last time it was your anniversary and now it's Scarborough Faire, before long we won't know where you went. LOL
 
Can a couple of Okies come down to play? It's not too far and I have family and friends all over the area. Would love to meet more AZers, too. I don't know if we'd be there for the whole thing, so Gene and I might just be watchers, not players, but it sounds like a fun event.

Hey!!! It would be cool to meet y'all!

I always like to play pool my entire Birthday weekend. I plan on playing in a Saturday tourney in Dallas and the playing in this one too!

Hope y'all get to make it!!

i just might come up from way down south for this one.....it will be a three day weekend for me as far as i can see now....will no more on the 1st if i can make it or not

I'm kind of hoping Gene will play. He's a pretty good player, if he's been able to play much. Of course, he hasn't been able to play a lot since the tornado, because a lot of the stuff that belongs in the workshop is still on the pool table, for lack of a better place to put it, to keep it away from the grandkids! :shocked2::shocked2:

So, if Gene gets to play at this thing, there is no telling how well he might do. I know he would have fun, though. And, it always makes me feel good to see him having fun.
 
We are supposed to go stay with my wifes sister in Irving Tx that weekend...I will try and at least be there...we are supposed to go out to the lake and go cook out and do some boating....

Id like to play in this tourney and as many others as I can because I have paid my entry into the Amateur Qualifier in Shreveport La in Sept....and I need the practice so I wont make a fool of myself :thumbup:

Rules are BCA 8 ball rules. Jumps and masse are allowed. Alternating breaks. There are no special 'house' rules. Cue balls will be the valley cue ball.

Any specific rule or equipment questions.. send them my way.
 
Melinda... if you're going to run the tournament, does that mean I can play instead of run it?

If you don't know who this is.... I'm your referee.

Whatdya know? Even though we live only an hour apart, we might finally get to meet you guys about 5 hours from here! haha!

Yea, I am coaching my sons Soccer team and baseball team...between that, and church on wed and sundays.....we are covered up...

We are making time to go see my wifes sister because she is as lonely as can be down there.....I have a few rent houses here in Ft Gibson and in Muskogee and I am thinking of just letting her stay in one for free just to get her up here.....she is divorced and has a 12yr old daughter, but they dont really know anyone down there...hopefully get them up here and they can be around friends and family again......

I hope your cousin is doing good also...I have been thining about you guys and him alot lately...hope everything is working out how it should
