I don't know about this, the AZB keychain could present a choking hazard to those under 3 years old or those of equivalent mental capacity. Pr'bly contains peanuts too. ;)

We all admire what Mike has done and continues to do for the community. I did the paid membership thing simply to contribute a bit to help out because I could afford it. (I should renew it soon too.) I did have to PM Brandywine to chase up the key fob, but it got there in the end.

Can I respectfully suggest that Mike can have plenty of free help if he just wants to ask us for it? I'm sure there are dozens of long-time members of suitable maturity levels (Sorry Smorg) who'd be happy to take on tasks like vetting member apps. If you take a few hundred a week and divide it into a dozen people it would be much easier to handle.

Perhaps a good step will to be create a sub-forum for AZB staff and volunteers, to discuss projects and issues the forum community can help with?

Unfortunately there are still no monthly drawings being held.
This is the single reason I haven't renewed my club membership....

Don't forget that all this is run by one man. Sure he has a couple mods to help him, but that's just to regulate the forum. The whole membership thing is still kinda new so I would remain patient as the kinks are all worked out.
 
What kind of drawings are we talking about? I need to become a member just because I should be helping support AZB, but I have heard a few people asking about the drawings. I would like to know what is or was up for grabs? is it like a $500 cue or a chalk holder? I guess I am trying to figure out what people are expecting from the member drawings and is it really a big deal. Please let me know.

Hi,

The drawings have prizes like a Dianna Hoppe picture, or a DVD of the Reyes/Frost match.
Like I wrote in my first post, I wouldn't mind just paying to support the site but if you're offering
monthly drawings when I sign up then I expect monthly drawings.

Hi Marissa,

I understand it's mainly Mike's hard work and dedication that makes this site possible.
The membership has been around for over a year now, I feel the kinks should be out by now.
Espescially since Mike has said several times in PM's and public he'd get back on top of this.
