May 24th $20 8ball bar box Rusty's Fort Worth,TX

We're still planning to be there and still have a room reserved. Might bring an old friend with us, too. Haven't seen him in a few years. He's a pretty good player, too.... Still plays in a couple of local leagues.
 
I'm glad they're allowing jump and masse' shots. That was definitely one of the factors in us deciding to make the trip.

Now that it's almost here, who else is sure they're going?

I guess Gene and I are the only ones playing...that would be funny, drive all the way to Ft Worth to play in a tourney only he and I entered..:thumbup:

I'm wanting to come to this, but I have FINALLY realized that I can't make ANY plans more than a few hours ahead... Tony has his ups and downs and we never know how he's gonna be feeling ahead of time.

yeah, yeah... I could go by myself, but I just don't like to drive.

Did Papa Red say he was coming to this? Maybe I could hitch a ride...

Is the cookout usually outside? Does Rusty's have some sort of patio? Can I bring my own steak for someone to grill? :p

There is a kind of patio... occasionally they'll bring a table or two outside, but not too often. If you want, you can bring a camping chair/folding chair, and sit outside and eat if you'd like. They can not serve drinks out side. (TABC)

Yes, you can bring your own steak, and Jeff will cook it up for you. You may wish to thank him for this. He likes Granny chilled.

Ah... so the cookout is inside then? Maybe it should be called a "cookin" or something? Thanks for the info. Mike!

Jeff also likes to make his magaritas with Granny... makes them pretty strong too! My friend likes Bailey + Granny for a sipping drink. Too bad I don't drink! :p

I think I will leave the steak at home then... :p
