Will be on the IL side (Fairview Hts.) on Saturday and Sunday, and was wondering where are the MUST plays in the area. No problem going over to MO, but if there is a good place to play in IL - that'd be even better.

I'm hoping for nice weater nonetheless...Sat. and Sun. morning playing golf, and Sun. afternoon = boat, and waverunners on Lake Carlyle. Thanks for the recommendation Watchez. :thumbup:
Brother-in-law lives down there, and I've played all of the ones you mentioned and MORE. StoneWolf is Sunday, but we are playing Governor's Run on Saturday (he's a member).....wish it were Annbriar (we have a course by the same designer in town - www.weaverridge.com ); great course. Gateway's fun when it's not TOO HOT, and like Spencer T. up in Alton also. You're lucky to have SO MANY high quality courses within an hour or less drive!!!
BTW, see you are out in St. Charles...out thatta way I've played Bear Creek and Wentzville (something or other; Golf Club??), both were also decent price for a good track.
I've probably played more than 20 different courses within an hour of his house (and a few a bit further - Rend Lake area, and Nashville, etc.). And that's nothing, I have a buncha buddies in the Chicagoland area - played tons up that way too!! TOO MUCH GOLF?? No such thing for me!!!
