Mike Sigel & Tony Robles Exhibition Tonight at Amsterdam Billiards in NYC

Bah, I'm stuck in Hawaii and I'm going to miss this! C'mon Tony!!

Hi Everyone --

Just so you know, Mike & Tony will be doing a Straight Pool Match, race to 200 tonight at the Amsterdam Billiards Club in NYC (4th ave & 11th st.)

Winner wins a $1000, loser takes home $500.

Woohoo! 14.1 Action.

Can anyone record it?

I have some old 14.1 matches from Amsterdam that Rolando Aravena recorded.

Sigel, Mizerak, Ortmann, Lee, Massey... a bunch of matches. They allowed it in the past so .......

Bummer for me.

I was at Amsterdam this afternoon for my usual Tuesday hookup with my regular practice partner, and owner Greg Hunt advised me that this match would be takng place. When I told him I have a dinner date, he told me "bring her here," but that's not very realistic on this particular occasion, so I'll miss the match.

Let's face it ----- the guys at Amsterdam really need to be more mindful of my social calendar!

Lol

good luck on your date Stu

Sigel ran 3 from the break and had to play safe.
Tony made a great wraparound shot and ran about 40 from there.
Sigel ran 12
Tony ran 51 and missed.
Sigel is on 50+ at the moment.

So, that makes the score

Sigel 3+12+50+= 65+
Robles 40+51=91+

Sigel at the table.

tnx

So the score is something like 91-65 Tony, with Sigel at the table?

Current score is 104-91 in favor of Sigel. He did end his run on a miss but got right back to the table after a Robles error (I didn't see it so I don't know if it was a missed ball or safety).

I'm working (at Amsterdam) and posting from the office so I can't see the match.

146-105 Robles ahead but Sigel at the table. Robles missed a shot from the stack after a break shot didn't yield much.
