If I had the time to take off work, I would definately go myself. But beings that it is right in the middle of our work season, I doubt I will ever go. What I might do is go to one of the circuit events that happens around here like at Binions in Omaha. And if a miracle happened and I won a ticket to the main event, then I would have to have a "sit down" w/ my boss!
I've played before, a few years ago when they had 1k buy in events on top of the satellites they always have going. It's nothing like a main event you see on TV where the room is full. The event I played in only had about 40 tables to start with and around 340-350 people entered in. There were two other events going on in the Horseshoe at the time. The month before I won a free roll promotional tournament at the Borgata in AC during Spring Break.

Thats ok, I would prefer my first event to be a low end 3 day that has that many people in it. Still 400K in the pot at 10 a table $1K buy in. I guess I should make up my mind and talk to my backer to see if it is something we both want to do lol.

Man that very well could be the next time I step foot in that pool room, unless I get a major urge to randomly play a tourney. I'm kinda enjoying the break. Gonna take a guy all my cues to get them back nice and pretty in the next week. Stix on Saturday is about all i need to stay satisfied
