The Crystal Kelly was quite a success this year. Imagine, the general average for the whole tournament was 1.875. Frederic thinks it's the highest of all time. Speaking of amazing, the suspens lasted until the last round where Blomdhal had to win against Merckx to secure his victory but he failed to do so as Merckx made a run at the end to tie the game. Then it was open for frederic because he had already won against Blomdhal so a win would do it for him. But he was playing the fearful Jaspers. But similar to the magnificent week Frederic had, he cruised to victory with an impressive run of 19 during the match. So it's a 3rd victory for him at the CK and the 2nd in a row as he won in 2008. Just a few data. Frederic during his 7 matches (to 50 points) made a run of 14, 15, 18 and 19. Wow. On 7 matches he averaged 2.13.Here's the complete results:
