beautiful star city cue for sale.

Alright i've pretty much decided to keep this cue. it looks great and plays as well as anything else i've owned so it's cool i'd just regret selling it anyway.

Someone please answer my earlier question though. Is my price out of line or is there really just no interest?

I was pming someone about this cue and he seems to have gotten this cue confused with "star cues" mcdermott's overseas made cues. I was wondering if anyone else had made that mistake? star city cues is not associated with star cues

once again was anyone else under that impression?

lol, wow that would suck..i think the price may be a little high since some more well known makers are going so cheap. sign o' the times that's all.

Yeah i guess you're right. now not everyone knows me well enough but the people i've dealt with know i'm easy to deal with (i'll haggle). i figured someone would make me a low ball offer but after talking to someone not long ago i thought there might be a "who's the maker" issue

The maker of this cue is Al Bekelheimer of Roanoke Virginia.. just in case someone wants to know.........

Al Links Star City Cue

I am doin a little bit of research before purchasing my own cue on some of the cues I have found and am interested in. One of the ones that I have found is a star city cue by al links and I have heard nothing but good things about his work. The cue I am referring to is an 8 point ebony amboyna burl with ivory inlays. It has an original predator 314 shaft with a med moori tip. could anyone advise me as to what would be a bargain vs. a fair price to pay for this cue if it has been used 8 - 9 times just by Al Beckelhimer himself?

i paid 950 for mine with 2 original shafts. even with the market being the way it is i think 700 sounds fair. i think i saw the cue you're talking about about a month after i bought mine and it sold for 800 (forgot the site).

1 shaft or 2? seeing as the cue maker made it for himself i'm guessing he paid real close attention to it's construction and i'd be willing to bet it plays really well. post up some pics so we can see
