Heard a rumor any validity ?

Hey everyone I heard from a guy that worked at Valley Forge this year as event staff that they were putting on a mini expo soon. Is this true, i mean if so would love to go and check it out but if not would like to know so i dont get my hopes up.

Hopkins did it last August, in conjunction with his "Million Dollar Shootout", but it didn't go over very well. There were only 15 players in that event, and I think there may have been a small amateur tournament too (not sure). Very few people went, and there were very few vendors. It is NOTHING like the Super Billiards Expo every March. It's tough to do two events like the SBE, in the same place, in the same year.

I asked Allen at the 8 ball tourney a few weeks ago and he said he wasnt having the shootout this year and the only other thing he mentioned was he was trying to get the world straight pool tourney there but i see it is at Comets. Other then that never heard anything about a mini expo.

I believe the BCA tradeshow was in KC a couple of years ago.
