For those of us who still use Nelsonite how often do you change your dip?
I have been using the same stuff for a while and I am wondering of the solids/ chemical is lost over time as it is sucked into the wood. With that said I do mix it up before I dip. How many dips do you do before you change? I only dip once a year so I do not use a whole lot of product. I am just curious if anyone has found that it loses it's kick over time.

I have had the same tube for almost 2 years now. I had to add to it. But I have had never changed it.

I add to mine every time the tube gets low. I have only emptied when the Nelsonite goes bad. That has only happened once in all of the years I've been using it which is about 12. When it goes bad you will know as it stiffens up and starts to become lumpy instead of thin like usual. The product should always be sealed from outside air as this is what lets some of the thinners evaporate making it useless.
