Efren Reyes on Probe! Interview by Cheche Lazaro!

Just finished the entire program. Fantastic direction, great production value, and not isolated to the "trick shot" segment, as to summarize his skill set. Very cool I was able to see it stateside! Pretty awesome they showed the man outside of the rails, introducing his family and friends, and showing his generosity towards his people and culture.

Now as soon as I learn how to speak and understand Tagalog, I might be able to get more out of it. :)

Wow! Unfortunately I don't understand the language but I think I could get the main idea. It was such an intimate interview and shows how Efren is so easy-going and down-to-earth.

That interview really cheered me up and touched me. If we all notice, when Efren misses, 90% of the time he will smile and chuckle...he seems to love the game SO much. What a passion he has for the sport!

Any sub-title in English? ;)

It would be nice to hear the translation into English but that is work, especially putting subtitles on the video. Maybe someone with flying fingers could type the interview or maybe just provide an overview.

Everyone wants a piece of the King. Can you imagine how Efren must feel being pulled in a thousand different directions, no matter what country, city or place he is in? He's got to have a LOT of patience.

I almost halfway finished with the translation, friends.
(Work keeps getting in the way! :) )

Before the end of this week (Sunday), friends,
translation will be up.

Friends, here are links to the English translation
of the Efren Bata Reyes' interview conducted
by Che-Che Lazaro of the Probe Profiles.

And oh! I just discovered that Probe Profiles added
the 3 missing parts of the interview at their Probe TV website.
Will try to complete those, too.

Much thanks for looking, everyone!
Links are here, friends! (posts also include links to the ProbeTV videos)

AWESOME~!!#@$

Thank you man. As a big Efren fan, I think your efforts are an invaluable asset to this community. If possible, time permitting, I'd like to be able to set subtitles to the actual footage with this translation.

Thanks again!

Nice job!!!

Good Work!!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Why are Philippinos so good at what they do?

There are 2 heroes in my life and they are both Philippinos.

Dan Inosanto.

Efren Reyes.

If I could learn all that they know and can do (which is impossible). I would die a happy man.

The one and only thing I would do if I won the lottery is follow Dan Inosanto and Efren Reyes and try to be their assistant/pupil.

*For those of you whom don't know who Dan Inosanto is, he is the physical embodiment of highest level of hand to hand combat, stick fighting, etc.
