Had an enjoyable Sunday afternoon playing in the 9 ball tournament at Kolby's Corner Pocket. Well run, good competition, nice people. Tempe is a little far away for me but if it was closer I'd be a regular.

Glad you had a good time there, I take it that it was the 8 and under tournament during the day. It has a very strong following as does the Tuesday tournament. We actually had a pretty good turnout for the 9 and under bar table 8 ball last night, it was fun especially since I won it too. :smile:
 
does frost still play or own Kolbys? why does he not go play in the big events?

Yeah, he still plays there, Kolby's is his home room. He doesn't own it, but is very tight with the owners.

He played in the Derby, and match-ups in Vegas. Not sure on the other big events. He'll be on TAR this weekend against some unknown with the initials SVB.

I believe it all comes down to sponsorship perhaps, it is tough for many players out there on the tournament trail. He will be at Galveston for the one pocket, should be a great turnout. :smile:
 
I am sorry Lenny for not making to the one hole tournie. My wife's surgery was on camelback so I played at click's some just so I could be close if there were any issues with her. Dont know when I am going to make it up there again. Who is the chick in the red dress???

Hey brother. Maybe I will see you at the next one, I went 2-2 and beat the Preacher, haha. You did the right thing by being close to your wife and hope the surgery went well. The chick in the red is my lady. :D
 
Wow man, nice. If my wife wasnt hot too I would be obliged to say something indecent. Kudos for both of us then.

Oh and good job on the Preacher. Have I ever seen him play???

Haha, thanks, she is lucky to have me. :p I posted mine now you post a pic of yours! :D Preacher is the guy who holds the tourney and plays one pocket all of the time, plays very well and had to give me 8-6. :smile:
 
Let me see if she has a red dress i can put her in first. :D I played one hole with a dale glenn or something like that over at click's, played very strong.
