Guys -

I have a Hoppe Tad that I really like. But I dont see many of the ULTRA fancy Tad cues.

Do almost all of these go to Japan?

Just curious.

Isnt Tad Korean?

Going to Southern California next year. I have been there before, but thought about trying to go his shop. Maybe Ernies too.

I can relate to the drool.

I saw a picture of about 200 partials and 100's of shafts.

Rick Howard told me that Tad is still using shaftwood from the 60's and 70's. While this might be a "CUEMAKER URBAN LEGEND". I really like the shaftwood on the 2 Tads I have had. Sometimes I really crack me up!

tad question

i realize that it is not super fancy but i think it is nice...does anyone know if this vener color pattern is rare? i was told by someone that many were not made this way and if it is rare does it make it more valuable? thanks mickey carroll ps i love the hoppe style tad in avatar...

high end tads

man i think that ken kregen from high end cues...get some of the badest a$$ looking tads that end up for sale in us.... if you want to see some hit him up i am sure he has a few for sale...

if you mean tads with some ivory, a very small percent goes to japan.
90% plus are in orange county
