It ain't full yet, but I predict it will be just about last year. We were full at 6:15 on Friday and had a waiting list of 22. Better call now and get your spot saved. Intending to play and getting shut out is a sick feeling, as I have done it before.
So far, the cue biz people will be Ron Geyer, Joe Salazar, and Robbie Tims and Jeff Ridel. And of course James Hanshew and his great cue. The cue he donated alst year was a real thing of beauty>>

Anyone heard any rumors of top players playing this year? With the Galveston thing the following week, I heard there may be some more pros at the Texas Open.

So far, Gabe Owen, Rob Saez, Chris Bartrum, and I'm sure others will follow. They always do!!
 
I would suspect that Jeremy Jones would be there to try to reclaim his title, but I have heard no confirmations yet.

Word on the street is that SVB will NOT be there to defend his title.

With the un-rest in the Phillippines, It wouldn't surprise me if he showed up, but you are correct, he was not planning on attending.

Jeremy is living in Wichita now and not sure. I will call him today and try and fire him up a bit.

If he thought I was playing he would be there. In 5 tournaments he was my first match,,lost all 5,,,,hill-hill!! he loves playing my old use-to-be ass!!
