Cue Headache...

My head hurts! Okay let me tell you all why. I want a cue, but i don't have much money. The cues i have used have been nameless brands, and i never touched a name brand cue so i have no idea what the difference is. I play pool often and I want to get better, like i said before become pro or at least pro level... I know people suggest McDermott cues, but i don't have that money to spend as i am saving up for something else (pool related). I am wondering if there is a decent cue for less than 100 possibly less than 50 if possible. I am sorry if there is a repeat of this thread somewhere, i just wanted to ask in my own way.

I'l sell you a cuetec Strickland signature series for $75 shipped in a hard tube case. Its a little beat up, but it plays great. It's white. And it has a brand new LePro tip on it.

What your looking for is tough if you can buy something straight in the $100 range thats not all beat up i guess you'd be doing good I found this thread here on Az.http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=120505
Cue 4 and 12 may be very close to what your looking for.You can always pm Troy to see if he has anything else in your range.Good luck on your hunt hope I helped:thumbup:

Have you checked local pool rooms for any used cues? My first good cue was a used Viking that I bought at a pool room for $50. I've since gone up the cue ladder, but that Viking was as much cue as I've ever needed.
 
I can give you 1 of these for $100 delivered.
I have been using one out of the same series myself.
I feel that they play real well.
It is a radial pin, 13mm shaft. Brand new

local spa/billiards store carries McDermott, Star, and Lucky (another McDermott import brand). Tried the one in the link - think it cost a friend $50....and it hit REALLY well. Your options will be much better with a higher pricepoint, but if you want a NEW cue for $50 - this one'll work.

BTW, they have fancier looking ones (read: more overlays), but the simpler design of this one is the reason I like it the best. Good luck :thumbup:
