World Cup of Pool

Muratore - Arm hair foul? Never heard that one before... :)

Not a foul...

It's a foul. Hair is a part of body. The same as if he touched the ball with his hand.

But to be fair, that's something usually players call on themselves. I don't know how she saw that.

SEPTEMBER 3 RESULTS

Taiwan vs. Singapore (8-6)
Poland vs. Belgium (8-0)
Russia vs. Denmark (8-3)
Holland vs. Vietnam (8-3)
USA vs. Indonesia (8-5)
Philippines B vs. Italy (8-5)

I mean the ref from 5 metres away you can see if arm hair touches the ball?

A more experienced referee would not have called that foul, Italy have every right to be aggrieved at a chance to come back to 6-7....

I didn't see because my stream was breaking up at the time.
But if it was like that, 5 metres away...wow......than there must have been favouritism no doubt. I'm not implying anything, I hope it was just an innocent mistake, but if the organisers would resort to such moves then it would be a shame, because their players are certainly good enough to win on merit without such assistance.

I don't think you should jump into conclusion that they favored the Filipinos. Roy said that he saw it moved. I did not see it but I don't think I will give any indication until I saw the video.

Now I saw the video, very close to the 6 ball, and he got long arm hairs. And according to the commentator the referee was leaning spotting the arm. Could be right and besides when it was called foul, the arm was on top of the 6 ball.

Love how Reyes and Bustamante make me laugh when they play as Scotch Doubles partners. Francisco bailing out his partner the first couple of racks.

Why haven't any of the USA matches been rec.? I haven't found any yet.
