This is my one big pool trip each year, even though I only get to go from Thursday through finals. Im starting to get pumped!
So, who's going to be there besides me?

SVB, Johnny Archer, Jeremy Jones, Corey Deuel...Oh you mean other than players.

In that case, I'll be there! Make sure you look out for me, I'll be the one wearing...clothes.

Hope to see some AZ'ers there.

Im only 3 hours away but we'll see. Not working kinda put a damper on things like the Open :(

I'll be there specifically for the HoF Banquet, but I might as well stay for some of the tournament. I thought it ended on a Saturday, so I made my plans accordingly. But, it always ends on a Sunday, doesn't it?

Like every year, I'll be there too.

You guys should check this out too: http://www.billiardsdigest.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showthreaded&Number=317358#Post317358

Bah... start's Friday morning, I was thinking of leaving first thing Friday (have to take wife to airport early that morning) which would get me into there around noon to 1ish...

Know of any other tournaments that will be going on that weekend?

I guess if I leave straight from the airport and drive my Mustang instead of the SUV I might make just make it by 11am...

Well, if you sign up and can get there by 11.30ish, I might could squeeze you in

The only tourneys going on (that I know of) are the two man tourneys that you personally create, at Q masters.

I'll keep that in mind on trying to get there early. Should have my plans made by end of the week...

As for those other tourneys, those are the ones I always come in last place in... And they don't pay out a consolation prize for last place! :)

It used to end on Sunday but Barry changed it 3? years ago. People can now watch the finals and get home in time to make work on Monday which used to be a problem. Your first thought was right Fred as they so often are. Cya there.

We could get an NC AZB contingent to road trip up! I have an SUV that seats 6 adults comfortably... :)

Brian

If I do go it will be for Friday and Saturday at best. I get off work Friday morning at 630am. After that I would most certainly need a nap and then I could head up there.

We head up from Raleigh with 4 guys on Thursday morning. Catch the good matches and vendors, then head to Qmasters for some action. Man it is awesome.
This will be my third year and I am hoping to go every year (and if the wife wont kill me, maybe the DCC).

The prices on VIP seats is not bad either. I dont mind paying $100 for three full days of a guarantted seat at the tv table, but you can still get day passes that are very cheap.

Hotels are very cheap now too. This years cost is $25/night less than last year. Now it Qmasters was only next to the hotel too. I guess that is what taxis are for :)

Need to make friends with a local, that way you don't worry about Taxis. There's plenty of people on here that are from that area. In time, if you become good friends, you may even have a place to stay for free!

Or find someone who doesn't drink who is staying at the hotel :)

Looks like I'm going now, have my hotel booked for Friday and Saturday nights at the Marriott.
