Hager Extension OWNERS????????????

There was someone posting on the for-sale forum the other day his cue extensions and he also sold a pouch that you would attach to your case to hold it. Some people mentioned they were ordering the pouch for their hager extensions.

Anyone come up with a device for attaching your HAGER to your Case for Easy Carry????

A Metal shower curtain ring that works like a safety pin. Attach it to your case and drill a small hole on the bottom of the extension. Using the Mesh soon rips it. Yep it can be a PITA carrying all your junk. I feel like a Bell Hop sometimes.

Cocobolo

I just might have to order a pouch. I bought the extension in Vegas a while ago and like it better than a bridge. But I am about to go back carrying a single shaft case and no extras.

BTW Thanks for the greenie, I am not sure how many you have to get before they increase your status??

He has pictures of his piggyback pouches a few posts down.

After looking at Link I feel anyone can make an extension with a 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe lining the inside with the soft side of Velcro or some such material. A heat gun or hair dyer can warm the PVC to squeeze or stretch it to your cue size. A little spray paint with some design and you don't look so Presidential Solution.

Agreed, also the piggyback pouch would be very easy to make as well. Just some velcro and some fabric tossed thru a sewing machine.

The Hager extension was just a little too small for my McDermott cue. I bought a 16" 1 1/2 black drain pipe extension at Home Depot as you mentioned. I then placed a small ladies sock into the extension, folded over about 1/2 inch over the end of the pipe and secured it with a cable tie. Works great.

Extension Carrier

only $5 each shipped.

I just talked to John Hager and looks like we are a couple of weeks away to see a Hager extension carrier.

I stick mine inside, but I have a soft butterfly 3x5 Mezz case. It prob the only case you can do that with.

Another way is to possibly drill a hole in the side on either the top or the bottom and use a golf clip.

Another way is to buy some velcro at home depot. You can stick it to the side of your case and just rip it off when you need to use it.

Actually, I think most long pockets would work

Bungee cords

You can get a plastic container of bungee cords at Home Depot for about $5 and it contains about 8 cords which are about 1/8" thick and you can cut them to the length needed. They have a little orange half open "acorn" where you tie the knot for the proper length.

I have a Longoni Extension and it works really well for that. I use two of them, one for the top of the extender and one for the bottom.

I know several people who play in a wheelchair so they have extensions and short bridges velcro strapped to their cases and it looks pretty decent.
