Here are a couple of shots I've actualy played in tournaments, Diagram 1,

The shot is a KISS BACK, off the white ball, then around the table, 4 or 5 cushions. I shot this shot on Joe Diaz of Chicago, about 25 yrs ago, He thought I got lucky, I played the shot!

It was a tournament at New Wave in Miami, about 1995, Carlos Hallon beat me 50 to 46 in the final match.

Another offering of a KISS BACK shot I've been shooting in Exibition's for about 30 years. Diagram 3,http://CueTable.com/C/?@03AbBF2BbaI...4UEvl4UbOg2UTpk2UVdczc2VbaI2Vbbq2Vbxrzc4uDjL@ You hit the rail just before the ball, white hits bottom rail and comes back to kick cue ball around table as shown, not a very difficult shot, only if you ever see it!

And this last position, Diagram 4,http://CueTable.com/C/?@04AUue4BaXq3CbgU4UUue3UbHa3UcVl4UbbI4UAGq3UcHr4UXMG1uDKB@ I have to believe this shot is not a shot that is noticed by many players, I myself, have never seen any player attempt it, but me.

I've tried to show some shots that I've known for many years, but have never felt the need to enlighten other players, For the simple reason, I've always been way to competitive, now that I don't compete as much, it really doesn't matter. I feel if this game is to GROW AT ALL, the new generation of players should have as much knowledge as they can to implement into thier game.

I've tried to show some shots that I've known for many years, but have never felt the need to enlighten other players, For the simple reason, I've always been way to competitive, now that I don't compete as much, it really doesn't matter. I feel if this game is to GROW AT ALL, the new generation of players should have as much knowledge as they can to implement into thier game.

Carlos Hallon beat me 50 to 46 in the final match.

I know Carlos Hallon very well, he's a regular on Doral Billiards and New Wave, like myself.

I've played with him a few times (actually, he's mopped the floor with me a few times)

He's a first class veteran player.

Shot 4 (cross table short angle backup) was played by harry Sims quite regularly. Also played with the CB above the 1st OB which is a much easier position than the one you have here.
