Update on the Des Moines pool scene

I should be able to get out that Saturday nite. I'm unable to commit to the Ft. Dodge tourney as I will probably be working that saturday day.


As for offering you the 6, hmmmm, why don't we start w/ the 7! If you want, you can lay the lemon on the first few sets and then adjust from there! If you think you HAVE TO HAVE the 6 for an even game, I'm sure we can work something out! We will also have to throw in some sets of 8 ball too!

WOW.... I can't believe he really is asking for the 6 ball. I figured he was kidding......guess not...:shrug:

What I meant to say was, when Spina and I are done and if Spina declares me "the winner", I would play you some sets.

Minus us playing doubles recently at Square One I have not gambled for $50 sets in about 5 years so yes the 6 will be the spot. I have no idea how I will play with that. If I lose do I get the 5? We don't know until we play. We can adjust accordingly if need be. The 6 it is.

Ouch...now I definitely am getting the 6 and leaning toward the 5 which is above my avatar. I know you are joking, but I also know you don't think I can win this game....so you are only semi joking :). I may not be completely ready to play, but I won't know until I get my feet wet. Happy Thursday all....anyone else want to woof at me? Kick a midget when he's down lol?

Spimp juice, I know a guy that works pretty cheap that can get them off you for a small fee, I'm just sayin.

Last time I checked I haven't beaten anyone so the world it is...not asking for the breaks with Brad so maybe we should downgrade it to asking for just a continent instead of the world?

Matt, I'm not poking fun at you. I just think you are better than that. I feel the same way, I also can't remember the last time I played for anything more than $20. ......oh that's right....I remember now....I played Jonny Brown for $50....and he commenced to stick it I'm my ass and break it off when he broke and ran four out of the six racks...

Not that we need to continue on this subject, but like I said I will be willing to adjust. We can play 2-3 sets and then go from there. The other side of the coin, what if I lose 2-3 sets out the gate with the 6? Then what? I don't play as good for money, as I do with normal shooting keep that in mind since I do not gamble that often at all. That is the main ingredient there people forget. How often do ANY of you see me gamble for more then a drink? Ill take "never" for 200 Alex. There you go.

We will just play and see.

I haven't seen you gamble in years no doubt. My opinion is play a nice ahead set if you're worried you might dog it some. When i did that with pet it took 10-15 games til i settled down. And im sure you will dog it a little. I did, and Brads been gambling alot lately. Maybe hes got an edge on you there.
