Looking for an Omega DPK. I like the one the Deacon has for sale, but have not heard back yet. So I'd thought I'd see if any one else has one out there for sale. I'm a cash buyer. Looking for one in good condition....19 to 20 oz. Pm or post reply.

Thanks,

Doug

The Ugly stick version as seen on the forearm, like new condition, no dings, dents etc.......2 shafts 13.1mm, all straight together or apart, rings at abcde and all lined up when put together.

Butt weight 14.90oz
Shaft 1 weight 3.98 oz at 13.10mm
Shaft 2 weight 3.95 oz at 13.10mm

1300.00 shipped conus. Let me know if you have any question.

bump for anymore....

I like the cue above. Maybe a shade light for me. Can you refresh my memory on the reason for "ugly stick"? If I recall, it was because of some "cosmetic" factor that made the cue "ugly"?...The cue looks perfect to me, just curious.

A long time ago. Are you going somewhere with this?

I could never get used to the taper on the shafts. I loved how it looked and balance, but of all the cues I have used, the O/dpk shaft taper was different for me.

I recommend playing with one for a day or so before purchasing one.

I've heard that. Particularly along the lines of SW...the parobolic taper made famous by Kershenbrock. Ironically, I'm not a huge fan of SW "standard" taper, which may be similar to DPK? However, I don't mind having the shafts tapered more to my liking. I also like to try out different cues...particularly cues with the pedigree of DPK.

If there was one around, I'd love to try it out, but unfortunately, I don't know of any in this area. My other cue aquisition will eventually be a Schick. I had in my possession three good players, but honored a deal with Kenny at fourkingcues and sold them all. I like trading....if only to find out what I really like.

Thanks for the input.

Ugly sticks

They were ugly something to do with the wood choices. But the wood wanted to be a cue stick so they ablidged. Happy ugly cues.
It is a nutty story that was told to me by a fruitcake's friend.
